Abigayle Ministries Return Baby Bottles

Bible Studies
The bible studies will resume on Wednesday, January 25th at the home of Curt and Suzanne Sorrentino, and at the building. Classes begin at 7:00 pm. This series of teachings given by R.C. Sproul cover 12 events in the gospels. He discusses each of these occurrences, their theological placement, and their significance in layman’s terms. The events in the life of Christ include the Incarnation, the Infancy Hymns, the child Jesus in the temple, the Baptism of Jesus, His triumphal entry in Jerusalem, and the Last Supper. Bible study forms are available on the table outside the kitchen. Please fill one out (couples please fill out separate forms), and leave in the place provided.

Tithe Reports and Member Updates
The 2011 tithe reports are in the mailing process. A sheet to update your contact information for the Member Address Directory will be included. If you wish to be in the updated directory, please fill out the update form and drop it in the collection basket, or in the basket on the welcome table. If there is no change to your information, just write “no change” on the form. Extra forms are on the welcome table.

Parents:
Please take your children to the rest room before Sunday School to minimize the need to disrupt the children’s lessons.

Healing Heart Ministries

Pastors, ministry leaders, spouses and friends are invited to enjoy a day of encouragement, testimonies and worship. Topics include: How Jesus Transforms Hearts, Rekindling Marital Intimacy, Understanding Problems of the Heart, Effective Pre-Marital Counseling. The event, which runs from 9am –4pm, will include a Valentine luncheon. It is being hosted by Hunters Creek Community Church at 2471 Metamora Road in Lapeer. $25 minimum donation per couple, $15 single. To register, call 810-245-7045 by February 6th. Summer Study

Greg Frezza is teaching the 1st Epistle of John in our Sanctuary beginning Tuesday, June 14, until July 19th. There will be no class on Tuesday, July 5th due to the holiday. The study will begin at 7:30. All are welcome to attend.

The Fisherman's Net, from it's beginning has been involved in promoting God's Love through the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ. By accepting Jesus' instructions, we can have access to God through repentance and the forgiveness of our sins. By this process, we become connected to Him in a personal way.

To understand God's purposes for our lives, we turn to what we consider the "Manual for Life", the Holy Bible. The Net provides a comprehensive Bible study program throughout the year for both young and old.

At the Net, ministry takes on various forms of expression: Music, Drama, Intercessory Prayer, Helps, Exhortation, Counseling, Youth, Teen, Community Outreach and Foreign Missions are some examples.

A Wonderful Time at the Retreat

Our 2010 Women's Retreat, "In the Silence" was a smashing success! The retreat was held at the beautiful Capuchin Retreat Center at 26 Mile and Mound. All thirty women were touched mightily by the Holy Spirit as we spent quality quiet time reflecting on God's love for us. Thank you so much to Marianne Maccagnone for prayfully planning the retreat for the past year and the worship team which included Barb Covyeau, Diane and Diana Paonessa, Cindy Rivington, Nancy Elya, Carolyn Napoleon, Joyce Selva and Char Braspenninckx. Your music transported us to the heavenlies! Stay tuned for the date and plans for next year's retreat. You won't want to miss it.
